In the beginning

Thanks to Greg Prince for taking over this website as administrator after our former webmaster, Tammy Holdaway moved.

It takes a lot of work and thought to make a website user friendly for the older generation like current president and historian; but Greg has boundless energy and insight. He has gone the extra mile to make this possible and be a resource for the town and valley. It is a place for use by all “our children”, here and long relocated but having never forgotten the place and other friendly New Harmony people, to check in once in a while for the news and views–views of New Harmony historical landmarks and photos, that is. And maybe some views on the political landscape that impacts us and those who visit New Harmony.

Greg has set up this blog where everyone can keep up to date on the latest happenings, comment on posts, suggest stories and photos and comment on those submitted by others.  And be sure to check out New Harmony Heritage‘s website to read history, view the ever changing photo album, look at future New Harmony Heritage merchandise, ask questions of the historian, etc.

We hope it is a place where the young can learn of the history and meet and comment on past and current events. New Harmony Town will be starting a town website this spring where ordinances and other town information and business will be placed.
